SCUBA Diving for Qualified Veterans
For veterans who are medically and safely able, SCUBA opportunities offer calm, focus, and a powerful sense of achievement under professional oversight. We will be looking at certification courses along the way.
Bowfishing & Rod-and-Reel Fishing
Veterans can join us on the water for guided bowfishing and rod-and-reel trips designed for relaxation, conversation, and shared experiences.
Community Garden & Farm
Our garden and small farm are hands-on spaces where veterans can work with soil and animals, see growth over time, and bring home food for their families.
- Planting, tending, and harvesting fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
- Caring for Rhode Island Red chickens and collecting eggs.
- Working with rabbits and learning basic small-animal care.
- Learning about bees and honey production.
Food Support & Community
When food is available, veterans may receive fresh produce, eggs, honey, and other goods at no cost, helping relieve financial stress and support household food security.
